Birthday Wishes with roses

Hello crafters. Hope you are keeping well and safe.

Onto today's card...something I haven't tried in a while - stencilling. I loved using these stencils. A good excuse to get those inks out and have a play. I wasn't sure what the end result was going to be as I used the different layers of stencils, but the final reveal was a wow moment!

If Friends Were Flowers...

Hello crafters. Hope you are keeping well :)

A basket of flowers is today's offering. Tulips are one of my favourite flowers at this time of year and I love the huge variety of colours, patterns and forms they come in.

I stuck to plain colours for these tulips, colouring them with Promarkers.

I cut out the basket in kraft card and layered up the flowers and some of the leaves with 3d foam.  I finished with a sentiment topper, some punched butterflies and pearls.

April Showers

Hello crafters. Hope you are keeping well.

I have to say, not many showers this April but the flowers are definitely out! 
I had a play with some Clearly Besotted stamps and dies that came free with a magazine a while ago. 

I started with some paper from a Craft Sensations pad and stamped some raindrops in a tone on tone colour. I then stamped the umbrella outlines in black and then over stamped different patterns in different colours before die cutting them. The sentiments are also part of the set as is the little bunch of flowers which I coloured and cut out. I finished with stamping the sun rays in the corner and adding a stamped and cut out cloud.

Onto today's card....

I decided to go for pastel colours this time and after cutting out  this Craftwork Cards wreath die, I coloured it with Promarkers and embellished some of the flowers with pearls.

I snipped away the sentiment which is part of the die and replaced it with a Sue Wilson die, giving it  the shadow effect treatment. The papers are from my stash.

Happy Mother's Day

Today's card is one I made for a colleague to give to her mother.  I've used the lovely Woodware daisy stamp again and coloured it with Promarkers. 

The pretty papers are Grandma's Garden from Paper Boutique- I love the soft pink and peach hues in this pad and of course daisies are featured in the design! I've also used Tonic oval dies and a Me To You sentiment stamp.

Butterfly Wishes Birthday

Hello crafters. Hope you're keeping well.

A little less bright today so I thought I'd brighten things up with this card. 

I've mainly used the Butterfly Wishes collection from Heartfelt Creations, along with a LOTV sentiment stamp, Poppystamps border die, Embossalicious EF and some Xcut flower punches.  I stamped, coloured with Promarkers and die cut the butterfly flourish and added gems to the centres of the flowers.

Happy Birthday purple flowers

Hello crafters. Hope you're safe and well.

I've been rummaging through my old stash, trying to use up leftover bits - that's my main mission this year (!!). I actually had fun using the Martha Stewart punch around the page  to frame the Kanban topper (I'd forgotten how pretty the designs were).

I used some flowers, leaves and sentiment dies to embellish, along with pearls. The foiled paper is from Craft Sensations.Hopefully I'll have more cards featuring punches to show you as I have been busy having a play :)
