Festive Wishes

Hello crafters. Hope all is well.

A festive card today.  I've stuck to traditional colours and I do love the combination of red and gold.

I stamped, heat embossed with gold powder and fussy cut the poinsettia cluster. I did this twice and layered just the flowers on top, adding pearls to their centres. This stamp is an old one from Woodware which I bring out every year. The whole stamp includes a sentiment too, but I didn't use it this time as it didn't fit in with my new Yuletide Frame from Crafter's Companion.

I arranged the flowers  in the left corner and used a sentiment die from Sue Wilson - white with a red metallic drop shadow.

Some red gems in the holly in the corners were all that was needed to finish.   I wanted the flowers and die to be the stars as it were, so I used simple dotty paper in the background from Papermania's Tulip Christmas range.

Wishing You a wonderful Birthday

Hello crafters. Hope all is well and safe with you.

For today's card, I began by creating a background for my sentiment stamp. I used Distress Oxide to colour my card and then brushed my mesh stamp with water before stamping it onto my oxide background to leave an imprint of the mesh design. I used Versafine to stamp the sentiment.

I used these sumptuous papers which have a lovely shimmer - bit difficult to see in the pics. The butterfly was fussy cut from some of the patterned paper.

I used TL dies for the flowers and leaves using more patterned paper. I inked the edges of the flower bases and finished them with a gem in the centre.

Items used
Chloe's sentiment stamp, Woodware Fine Mesh stamp
First Edition Floral Fusion papers
TL Alexandra Lace Panel and flowers

Stamps by Chloe

Hello crafters. Hope you're keeping well and safe.

For today's card I delved into the latest magazine kit from Chloe's Creative Cards.

I stamped and glitter heat embossed the floral corner. I then stamped more flowers, heat embossed with WOW glitter embossing powder and die cut with the matching die. These were then coloured with Promarkers and layered onto the stamped panel. The same was done with the leaf stamp, this time I cut them out as there is no die. I filled in the leaves and flower centres with lots of black glitter. I used Tonic and SB dies for the card base and layers.

Hello crafters. Hope you are keeping well and safe.

A little bit of shabby chic today. The papers and toppers are all from Dawn Wheeler's lovely Summer House Paper Kit. I distressed and inked all the edges and die cuts with Victorian Velvet.

Blossom Branch

Hello crafters. Hope you're keeping well and safe.

I'm using a couple of dies that I've had out on my desk for a while but just not got around to using them. When I got the wreath die, I knew the branch die would go well with it. What do you think?

I coloured all the dies with my Promarkers and layered up the flowers which look almost red but are actually a very bright pink. I also had a rummage in my box of ric rac and various trims and selected this sparkly number. The papers are from a nearly finished pad - so more old stash used!
