Five Daisies

Hello crafters. Hope all is well. 

I treated myself to some new stamps from Woodware. I love flowers and these daisies were a delight to colour. I also finally gave in (after much drooling!) and used some papers from this gorgeous pad from First Edition.

As You Like It - favourite flower - I love all flowers - growing them, photographing them, even colouring them in! But one of my favourites is the daisy. Be it the humble little one that I used to make chains from as a child, or the bigger ones such as asters, coneflowers or 'mums'.

Onto today's card......

I haven't made a shaker card in ages and as I was rummaging for some acetate to create the window, I  came across some spider's web rolls - long time no see!

Smaller particles like glitter would escape through the mesh, so I hunted for some sequins and found a pack from Dovecraft's Sweet Paris range. 

The colours in this pack dictated the colours for my card - red, gold and black.  I've used a TL die for the black mat, a cut n emboss folder ( free in Simply Cards & Papercraft magazine) and a die cut sentiment from First Edition for the back of the heart. I added some sequins to the flower centres. I've given the card a good few shakes and no sequins have escaped, so I  might be using this technique again!

Woolcup Kitty

I adore this kitty...happy and content in the land of nod!

I coloured the digi stamp from Di's Digis with Promarkers and used some beautiful papers from The Works. I embellished with a Gorjuss bow and  MD flower and leaves dies.

All You Need Is Love

Sharing a love card today, featuring a sweet Hunkydory stamp from the For the Love of Stamps range. I've coloured it with Promarkers and fussy cut it too.

I added some blue chalk for the sky and stamped some birds (also from the same set). The sentiment and heart are from a Paper Boutique set.

Wheelbarrow of flowers

Hello crafters.  Hope all is well.

Sharing a quick card today featuring a frame I was gifted recently.
I've used an image from LOTV, cut to fit the inner shape.

I used an ombre effect paper from Crafter's Companion behind the frame and embellished with some leftover Heartfelt Creations flowers from one of last week's cards. I layered up the flowers with some punched Nellie Snellen ones and finished them with gem centres. The leaves were die cut with some of Sara's Signature dies. The sentiment was cut with Paper Boutique (I quite like the white on white) and the final touch was a dimension butterfly from PM.

Fairy Wings

Hello crafters.  Hope all is well.

Sharing a pretty fairy card today.  I enjoyed colouring this stamp. I kept the colours cool and pastel and added lashings of glitter to her wings and the butterflies.
