Hello lovely crafters. Hope all is well with you.
For today's cards I used some card blanks from an old Kanban box. They're tri-fold with a curved edge and I thought they would be perfect for these DL toppers from a Hunkydory pad (Flower Jars).

Hello Autumn indeed! Where has the summer gone? A definite chill in the morning air these days.
I bought some autumn craft goodies from the Range recently but I was also tempted by their home decor - so many warm colours in cushions, throws, wreaths. I also saw some cute autumn crockery in Asda. I nearly gave in but I don't think I could fit another mug in my cupboard at home!

I bought the latest box kit from Chloe a while ago. The magazine is packed full of inspiration, but something that really caught my eye was a layout that Chloe used for one of her cards. I thought it would be perfect for using little toppers and motifs.

I've been playing with some more of Lisa Horton's stencils and embossing folders. This design is called Button Blooms and features lots of flowers and a cute button like design for the flower centres.
I tried an American A2 size card today to accommodate the Honey Bee Stamps frame die. It's a little bit smaller than what I'm used to but I might use it more in the future as a lot of the cover plate dies I have are A2 in size. I also used the two smaller tulips from the Lovely Layers Tulips die set, also from Honey Bee Stamps. I inked these with oxides. The dotty papers are from a Craft Sensations pad. The sentiment stamp is from an old magazine freebie set. I finished with some gems.
That's all for today. Thanks for popping by and any comments you leave.
Happy crafting.

Let's bring in a little bit of the garden today. The tulips in my garden are in full flower and add such a cheery touch.

For today's card I've used a sweet layering stencil set called Songbirds on Branches from Pinkfresh Studio. I thought it would make a nice card for a couple.

I really enjoyed using these cute little mug with additions dies from Pretty Pink Posh.
I have used elements from the original mug set and some from the Birthday Additions set. I ink-blended the balloons using Distress Oxides and layered onto gold glitter die cut balloons before adding some highlights with a white gel pen. I dug out an old Forever Friends paper pad for the starry background paper and dotted some gems around. The sentiment is from the Birthday die set.

Today I have another Mother's Day card, this time featuring some cute little daffodils from Lawn Fawn. It's a simple but pretty set of dies.

Today's card was inspired by the latest release from John Next Door. I watched the shows and videos and although I loved the concept of the layering dies and the results were gorgeous, I couldn't justify purchasing them, not even for the convenience of having them all put together in sets! So I had a rummage through my copious dies and layered them up. It's a mish mash of different brands but I think the result isn't too bad. I omitted the rectangular layer which John included.
