Hello lovely crafters. Hope all is well with you.
This card took a while to make, but it was quite therapeutic filling in all the parts ( and I love doing jigsaw puzzles!).
I had wanted to combine royal blue and gold for a while and when I showed it to my daughter, she mentioned the colours reminded her of King Tut's mask!
I used the Dahlias in Bloom Sleeve from Tonic and Hunkydory gold mirri - I prefer this shade of gold mirri. I didn't want to introduce green for the leaves, so filled in with gold.
I added a little dimension to the leaves with foam pads. After blending some ink around the edges, I also dabbed some gold glitter glue with my finger.
Thanks for popping by and any comments you leave.
Happy crafting and take care.

A beautiful card Fatima, it sounds like lots of hard work but well worth the effort, it is very elegant.

Beautiful and regal in the royal blue and gold. I love paper piecing, like you say its therapeutic. Emmax
