Shoes and handbag for 50th birthday

Hello lovely crafters. Hope all is well with you in these turbulent times.

Gosh, I can't believe it's been that long since my last post!! Time is definitely flying past!

I've just been so busy with work and things happening at home. Crafting has had to simmer on the back burner for a bit but I did manage to make this card for a colleague to give to her friend.

The colours are the recipient's favourites and she likes her handbags and shoes.

I used a Chloe EF - once in white for the base,  then again in black and fussy cut the bag and shoes and finally in mustard for the bows, flower and tassle. I used another floral EF in the background and finished with die cut flourishes and black gems. The sentiment was done on the computer.

Thanks for popping by. Hope to be back soon!

Take care.

Festive Wishes

Hello crafters. Hope all is well.

A festive card today.  I've stuck to traditional colours and I do love the combination of red and gold.

I stamped, heat embossed with gold powder and fussy cut the poinsettia cluster. I did this twice and layered just the flowers on top, adding pearls to their centres. This stamp is an old one from Woodware which I bring out every year. The whole stamp includes a sentiment too, but I didn't use it this time as it didn't fit in with my new Yuletide Frame from Crafter's Companion.

I arranged the flowers  in the left corner and used a sentiment die from Sue Wilson - white with a red metallic drop shadow.

Some red gems in the holly in the corners were all that was needed to finish.   I wanted the flowers and die to be the stars as it were, so I used simple dotty paper in the background from Papermania's Tulip Christmas range.

Flowers in a vase

Hello crafters. Hope all is well.

Onto today's card...
Once again I've used a LOTV art pad image and teamed it with some new papers from Craft Consortium - Bright Blooms.

I've used some Crafter's Companion butterfly and flower dies - I inked through the latter to highlight the embossing on the petals.  The flower border die is from Tonic. A button and some pearls add the finishing touches.

Hello crafters. Hope all is well.

I've used an Hunkydory Little Book topper for today's card.

Hello crafters. Hope all is well with you.

Lots of glitter and sparkle on today's card (I'm still dusting it off everything as I type!).

I fell in love with this paper pad from a recent docrafts goody bag and when I saw these flower stamps and dies - well, a perfect match!

I stamped and embossed the flowers with WOW glitter embossing powder, die cut and layered them up. I added some stamens to the centres.  I used the same embossing powder for the sentiment stamp. I glittered some of the edges using  Hunkydory loose glitter.
