Wishing you the best...CAS

Good morning crafters.  Hope all is well.

The embellishments didn't come out for this cas card - well only a little subtle glitter around the edge!.

I've used the Dawn Bibby oval again, this time pairing white with a very dark purple. The die is a lovely size to use as a card base and stands up very well. The Sweet Dixie die was cut from purple glitter card and a couple of waste flowers from the die were used alongside the Honeydoo sentiment which was stamped with DI.

On Your Wedding Day

Hello crafters.  Hope all is well.

Not a scrap of patterned paper in sight today.

Apart from a Poppystamps border die and my ever faithful Cheery Lynn flourish die, everything else is Sue Wilson.  It's my first foray into the triple layer dimension and I think once you get your head round which colour you want in which particular layer, the effect is quite pleasing.  I also like the combination of different fonts in the sentiment.  Let me know what you think.

Fabulous Flowers

Hello crafters.  Hope all is well.

It's all about the bling today and using some new stash!

I've given this card the full (well nearly! I haven't used as many layers) 'Chloe' treatment.  I really like her floral designs and couldn't resist her latest stamps.  I had a lovely natter with the lady herself when I popped into her shop on a recent holiday to the Northeast. Just as bubbly and giggly in real life!

I really enjoyed jazzing up the stamped and embossed leaves and flowers with different glitters.  Needless to say, there is glitter everywhere!! I've also used a beautiful floral oval die set from Dawn Bibby, along with some beautiful Craft Sensations papers and Nuvo drops and gems.

Bee Happy

Hello crafters. Hope all is well.

Today I've used a lovely floral die to create a gatefold card. It's the free die with the latest Diecutting essentials magazine.

Although intricate, it cuts beautifully and I think the design lends itself to this style of card.  All the papers are Dovecraft's Bee Happy.  I've die-cut part of one of the papers with text from the pad and used that as the sentiment, framing it in black with an MFT scalloped die.

Thanks for popping by and any comments.

Just for You

Hello crafters.  Hope all is well.

The sun is shining brightly, but boy is it chilly..brrrr!!

Still, that didn't stop some beautiful, ombre paper pads falling into my basket recently!!

I decided to have a shaped card this time using the  Tonic Floral Favour collection. The central die is  from John Next Door - love it!
I echoed the dot detail in the Oakham Lattice with some Marianne flowers. I finished with SB leaves, a SW sentiment and some pearl flowers.
